Don't be intimidated or bullied by them, they are only human and bleed as anyone else, I only treat others as they treat me... be a gentleman or a nasty evil meathead I let them decide who they want to meet... I really don't mind either way, I have come across many travellers with no problems at all
Eh? That's like some ridiculous playground comeback? In answer to your 'question' though.....they may very well do, but then I work hard, pay taxes, don't go robbing everyone's stuff they've worked hard for and generally making people's lives a misery wherever I decide to 'set-up' home, so you could call it a personality clash.
I'm prone to walking a field chasing big rabbits with a couple members of the travelling community couldn't meet nicer lads
You have the other side of the community too like any other community
There's good and bad

Horrid people. They leave a trail of $hit, destruction and misery wherever they go.
They've just trashed a local village playing field near me which is going to cost thousands to clear up. Earlier in the year, they set up shop on a school field which caused the school to be closed along with the damage they caused. Police did nothing, it seems to me they are untouchable.
I bet if I parked a caravan on a school field, I'd be locked up within hours, so what's the difference?
^^^^ I think he means this: (but noting your location maybe you don't appreciate its banned in mainland UK) taken from first hit on Google....
Hare coursing is a bloodsport where dogs are used to chase, turn, and catch and kill hares and large amounts of money are gambled on the results. It is illegal in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland (but note that it is still legal in Ireland).
Hare coursers are violent criminals and give no consideration to landowners’ property and crops. They often have a sophisticated information network and they invariably know about vulnerable properties in the area, short cuts, and escape routes.
Hare coursing activity rises in late summer once fields have been harvested (ie when hare numbers are still high and the dogs have wide, unobstructed areas to run across).
I hope you don't partake in a barbaric pastime called hare coursing...we get the horrible ****ers driving around looking for hares and then then jumping out of their transits with Lurchers to chase them down.

Lamp rabbits and foxes with the lurchers at night all on permission
Townies will never understand the country life
It's completely legal here in Ireland
