Can't make my mind up on it.

 

It's terrible imo I was going in with an open mind but it's just terrible which is a shame as was hoping for more :-(

 

Extra Gear on BBC III online, now.

 

The Guardians live text feed was good for a laugh.

 

That was more entertaining than the show!

I read about loads of change except for the studio and theme tune. The only obvious changes were the presenters and test track (+ car).

Imo Chris should have introduced all of the presenters first and perhaps been a bit calmer.

Top Gear is obviously big in the USA too so perhaps a clever marketing trick to have Le Blanc and the now ongoing USA vs UK challenges.

We'll all moan about it but I'm series linking from now and will just watch the bits of interest to me. Ie testing cars.
The rest of it is family entertainment.

I can imagine it's always good for a laugh reading those deluded liberals ranting away "Top Gear is racist! Why are 50% of the presenters not women?! Death to all white heterosexual males!"

 

Especially with a white european female outshining the men and the black middle class male on Extra Gear.

They must have forgotten the misogynistic, racist, homophobic, anti-disabilty trio in it before.
