Is there an actual point to it or is it just how I see it....A couple of celebrities miming to a song. Utter ****.

 

It's awful.

I saw it last week. David Walliams and Alisha Dixon from BGT were competing against each other. Walliams was not even funny even when he tried his hardest, but thankfully Alisha carried the show by looking absolutely stunning. Other than her, the show was pants! The show concept is truly nonsense.

 

So that is actually it then.....miming.

I genuinely thought I had missed something. I would have like to have been at the pre-production meeting for this. Surely at some point somebody must have said it's a terrible idea? Then again, it is on Channel 5.

It's a good question.

I didn't expect it to be interesting at all, but I thought it would make me laugh a little. It could have done, with a bit more creativity in it. Alas, it didn't.

 

so you tune in and watch a show called "Lip Sync Battle" and are shocked to find them mime ?
And you think they have a issue?
remote controls can change the TV channel, I have never applied for Mensa but managed to avoid this type of rubbish . . .

 

Maybe time to bring back "Monkey Tennis"

All these sort of shows are for the brain dead. CH5 is the champion of such shows. Sometimes, though, when your brain and body has been overactive all day, you just watch it like a zombie but still hope to find some stimulus in them. Even when you know what they're all about. Anyway, you don't have to keep watching it, though.

Big Brother is the most impactful brain dead show that a lot keep watching, with the excuse of recognising it as some intellectual behavioural study of some extremely extra ordinary humans.

 

Both originally american formats. Typical examples of the rubbish, or should I say garbage they are so good at producing.

 

I haven't watched this but seen clips of the USA version. Utter garbage .
