RIP Lemmy
Motörhead frontman Lemmy has passed after a short fight with cancer. RIP Lemmy - sorry I never managed to see you play live. Still listen to Motörhead regularly.

RIP to a legend, 
glad I saw them at what turned out to be their last appearance at the Wolves Civic Hall in Nov 2012. I will have a toast to Lemmy tonight.

Thanks for putting this on as i am not allowed too so RIP Mr Ian Kilmister.(Tribute to the man on absolute classic rock now).

Apologies for the unforgivably late condolences.
Absolutely gutted.
Without doubt, one of the world's great characters. This wreck of a planet is now a much emptier place, knowing he's not around no more (in the same way I feel about Rik Mayall's untimely passing). Hell, Lemmy had literally only just turned 70 years young!

He used to frequent a pub in the Portabello Road (no longer there, but it was just up from the Ladbrook Arms pub)
He would be at the bar, same place most nights
I was never a fan of the heavy metal genre, but Ace of Spades is a great tune (along with "Since You've been gone" - Rainbow)
