Anybody who was mis-sold one and hasn't looked into complaining yet, do it. I had one for a few years that I was sold under the pretence of a lower loan rate. Finally got around to phoning the bank yesterday, had a return call today to say sorry we shouldn't have sold it to you have your money back plus interest. £800. For the sake of 10 minutes on the phone. Well worth it. They can only say no.

 

I can understand claiming if you haven't used the bolt-ons you pay for, but I've been perfectly happy having had travel insurance covered and three AA call outs with mine. I can't see how I've been mis-sold to in that regard. I also get 6 VUE cinema tickets per year and use them. Personally, I'm happy with the set up.

 

Yeah I think you'd have trouble claiming if you've been using it. I didn't really look into all the extras as I didn't need them and was genuinely mis-sold.
