Shame the bagpipes are by and large associated with Scottish culture specifically isn't it.

Also, is being 'British' something really to be proud of?

So by your definition does 'British' actually mean 'English' with Scotland not counting?

And if you're not proud of being British perhaps you should pretend to be Australian

G'day

As for definitions, not at all. My point being that when you say 'bagpipes' people will tend to associate them with Scotland (although the more worldly types may also pick up the Cornish and Irish bagpipes), not Britain/the UK as a whole.

Watching that must have given you some amount of conflict Matt?

1) An anti gay protester being drowned out by 2) a Scottish lad playing 3) Scotland the Brave. In St Andrews.

Not sure whether you're applauding the young lad or commiserating with the protestor...

Stop your whining and review your history. Like many such treasures the Koh i Nor was taken by force by a succession of invaders, finally being liberated by the British. It was won in blood, and that's the only way India will get it back i.e. never.

You don't seriously expect Shaid to let the facts get in the way of his moronic proclamations do you?

Yeah we are liberating your national treasures by erm... Stealing them... Yeah that makes perfect sense.
