RIP Our Cilla
I know she might not have aged too well but she was good in her day and was a big name in the celebrity circle

Yeah. Don't salute her. By all means pay respects, but no need for a salute. Doubt you know what a salute means tbh.

To be honest, you'll be surprised how old some of our loved celebs are. Brucy is 87 and David Attenborough is 89 and still planning his next trip.
72 is no real age now - Harrison Ford is 73 and planning a new Blade Runner and Indiana Jones

How many salutes are there ...??
I doubt she's after a full military salute , or indeed the two finger salute

Look, you wanna chill out. Keep your objections to yourself and don't be so regimental about the meaning of the word. You probably don't know the meaning of how words can be used otherwise tbh. Now stop ruining a veteran celeb's obituary thread with your silly objections and shift on.
Now STFU and don't go on about what 'veteran' might mean to you in your regimental ways.
Some people!

She hides it well, but I don't think she's impressed.

Was well shocked when I heard the news.
RIP Cilla.
Not many people can be recognised by first name.
