Default whats wrong with ebay

is it just me as every time i contact ebay with a problem, they keeping trying to push me into swapping contact details with the buyer or seller.

Even after i have been speaking via ebay messaging service to them and have got no where. Whats with them, i can't see how this would help. They even recommend this when the other party has been abusive.

I tried to sell something on ebay once, about 10 years ago, ended up owing then 20 quid and some change, they threatened me with court and bailiffs, so i sent then 25 quid paypal.
They have owed me just under a fiver now for about 10 years, every month they send me an invoice for -4 quid or there abouts, thinking of taking then to court for the interest lol

I avoid eBay too, from the outset it was always geared to benefit the fraudsters of this world.

I do use it, but only as a last resort...I bought a Hansgrohe shower pipe from Germany via EBay, but only because the UK version was too long to fit...for some reason the EU has a shorter version available (and its cheaper). Obviously without eBay and paypal as a standardised transaction platform, trying to buy it via more traditional means will have been alot more tricky if they didn't speak English.
