People do have a heart?
I don't know this man personally but he lives in my area and he has looked the same even when he was in his 30's. As a kid I think we all called him Chicken man but as you get older your not as much as a **** as you are as a child.
Its a disgrace that someone would actually attack this person and it shows the country has a heart for a person who must of had a hard life?

can't believe someone attacked him
When I was a kid and on my way to school, there was a bloke with downs that would stand waiting for his 'special' bus, a few of my mates would take the ****, but I always felt sorry for him.
It must be hard to be dealt a ****ty card like that from birth, and go through life with people looking and talking about you. But for someone to mug him
they should be strung up, they are a waste of oxygen

I didn't realise the money wasn't in an account for him? Lets hope this young woman who set up the fund doesn't take a management fee.

I bet you wouldn't complain if something happened to you and the donations came in.
I don't even think this man could be on the undateables as they would need similar to make a date? I can't see him spending the money as he will hide away like all the people who feel like society judges them to be abnormal.

To give you an idea on how pathetically small this man is, here he is next to a 21 year old girl.

Pretty much sums it up.
Why question some human kindness Tony? Somebody felt bad about what happened to him, and decided to try to help. Obviously, she was not alone in feeling that way, hence such a massive response.

Not wanting to sound like a cynic, but is there any evidence the guy was actually mugged and didn't just slip over whilst putting his bins out? Cry for help or something?
With the amount of money raised (close to 300 k and climbing) I'm feeling uncomfortable with it.
