Help identifying vintage radiator grill.
Received this as one of my presents, but I can't identify what car it's from.
Anyone out there know?

Easy: Austin A40
My grandad had one
Also had a A35 which he'd thrash around...you've never done 80mph until you've done 80mph in one of these

When I said I wanted a grill for Christmas I meant a George Forman Grill.

I'd say it's actually a Somerset, like this one, 1952 vintage. The Devon has a split grille..
A mate of mine had one back in 1967. We hand painted it blue with a pot of house paint and two brushes, and went driving it about the same afternoon with flies stuck all over it!

WOW excellent gift!
What would you do with it, though?
I mean, if you are to use it for what it is, you have to have a car for it. It won't look good on a scoobeh, would it.
I would personally hang it on the wall in my living room; as a show piece.

It won't be going on a car and definitely not on my Scooby.
It will be displayed somehow but is currently sitting in the fireplace looking like a cool fireguard.

That's great, spender(again)! Very good use of the antique. Good idea.
