Default selling cars

I would like to try and sell my car on SN but have no other reason to become a full member. The car is not a Subaru and needs some work doing(nsr caliper and m.o.t). It is an absolute bargain for someone but how do cars sell on here. Its worth about £2,200 with m.o.t and the jobs done but I only want £1,000.

yes you can just pay £4 for 1 month but its not just the money, iam not that tight.I hate having to put all my card details on to the comp, but would do so if its a good place to sell a car.Its because it needs some work doing iam not sure it would appeal to autotrader buyers.People on SN don't mind getting there hand dirty.

Advertise it on Facebook, there's stacks of for sale groups and it's all for free.

Whilst there is the odd dodgy scum on there, it is not a bad place to sell a car.
It is buyer beware, and I have had someone on there try and rip me off when I was interested in buying something, but selling stuff on there is ok, it's free and you can put 3 or 4 pictures up and add a fairly long detailed description without having to pay.

I have used it once to sell my sister in laws Golf and got lots of calls and it sold quickly, took an offer of about £150 less than the price advertised, and was receiving a few texts from disappointed callers saying they would have paid full asking price for it.

Used it a few times at work to sell a few vehicles on, the last time to sell a vauxhall combo, the phone literally rang as soon as I had posted the advert, and two hours later the vehicle was on its way with its new owner!
