can leave it on 4.2.1 no problems.

I need to get all my contacts off the thing and my pics b4 i reset it... so wont be able to send it till friday morning, but will send special delivery.

 

ios 5 works fine on the 3gs series and is better to jailbreak them aswel as for unlocking if you ring your network they will unlock it for free usually us at o2 do

 

ok slight change of plan... the situation was my lad bought a new iphone 4, i wanted his white 3gs so was going to sell mine... have been thinking about this all night and ive got soooo much stuff on mine that i dont want to loose or be bothered to reinstall, so im going to keep mine..

as a result my lads phone is up for sale instead, as above, only white back.
jailbreaked on 5.01, just re done it tonight.
unlocked to any network.
16gb version.
imaculate back. screen has slight scratch on it, but cant be seen when on, i can get the screens for a fiver if its a problem, but like i say when on you cant see it.
for some reason the battery does seem to be miles better than mine, not sure why this would be so, but its all in your benefit.
