Ok chaps, what should we do next,

I have spoken with Derk at power station, and if we want to go on the rollers we will have to wait about three weeks unless someone knows another place, Oh and they only do saturdays. He said that we would be looking at about £30 a head for up to 15 cars and £20 after that.

We could also try the quads (I still have the number) or outdoor karting (Mr Walls)if it was on a sunday, or there is the Birmingham speedway (karting)for a weeknight,er...... there is a motor museum at Bridgenorth, (I think) that might be worth a visit (an I know of a pub down the road)or would we just have a simple meet? maybe on the common on the callow end road, I have noticed that it is open, and you can take you cars on, mabye a barbi?

The thread is started,

Sorry - Yes, I fancy a go on the rollers @ Powerstation. I'm sure Ian Watkins will be there watching us all squirm as our motors are pummelled !

I'll be there

It is always fun to see owners faces when their pride and joy is taken close to the redline in 4th on the rollers. I think the noise is the thing that scares them the most. Of course, they do the same everyday on the open road, just the noise is behind them

Cheers

Cool

Had my old WRX MY01 (decatted and air Blitzed) on Dirk's rollers a couple of months ago. The results are not a lot to be desired. Head techy at the dealership said that these things should be taken with a pinch of salt. Different dynos produce different readings. According to Scoobysport, my old car should of had a reading of around 250 brake, Dirk's read 228. Something to do with air temperature and spraying water on the intercooler (it was cold that day).

I would be up for it as would like a reading of it as out the box then another one when PPP'd

T888 should get better reading on a cold day you've got water sprays on the STi7

Unhappy

Tony - your so in lurve with the car - hey, but aren't we all. Have you got front mud flaps fitted yet? Well recommended if you want to save the side skirts from sanding down and respray. I wonder why Prodrive don't do any Prodrive badging for the STI7 Type UK Prodrive Style? - would look a treat. I had to make do with my own Prodrive badging. Seriously considering de-badging "SUBARU" from the boot. Whadaya think?
