Who else is up for meeting up in the Northampton area before we take the trip up the M1 to meet with everyone else?

It's Sunday 7th April, and I propose meeting at 10:30-10:45am before heading off at 11am prompt to be there for 12:15-12:30.

Ok, getting a few now 
. I haven't decided yet where to meet up but I was thinking of the north/northwest side of Northampton, somewhere near the A14 and M1. Any suggestions?
Also, it looks like we're all going to donate a fiver to chaaaarity (RSPCA) - I think partly because it's a nice way of getting something really positive out of the day (!) and because it will make us look good to the locals
. Mikey wants the local organisers to collect it first 
so I'll get the fiver off people that are happy to pay it, at Northampton, before we set off. Donation is optional though.
Waiting for suggestions of places....

Fiver sounds good, plans are afoot to organise something (for charity) at the Rockingham Speedway... Watch this space..
As for a suggested meeting place what about the pub in Maidwell? It is right on the main road and is just off the last junction of the A14 before it joins the M1/M6? Quite a reasonable carpark out back, sorry I have forgotton the name (doh) will post when I remember.

Ok, The Stag's Head at Maidwell it is (thanks for the suggestion! ).

Just a quick note, those meeting us there from the M1/M6 direction beware there is a speed camera on the A508 junction just off the A14 on the bridge. Leaving the A14 from the East you miss it!

Probably the same place half of the MK lot were hiding last night (not in our pub anyway 
)...
Silent Monkey & son and Paul from last night (MK meet) said they would probably come along too, so there may be more lurkers for this.
I'm working on a good route up there at the moment.

I'm looking at putting together a more interesting route for this now - all back roads and B-roads until the last mile or two to let the cars cool off at the end However I'll only do it if people are going to drive it on the day!
Who's up for it?
(Usual rules will apply about not being an idiot on the roads etc and I'll also give people a normal A-road route if they want it.)

I'm up for a x-country drive, so long as there is an option for me to leg it on to a main road when you lot loose me (its only a skoda!). Also, not being from that area I might get lost (I'm from Surrey and they all seem to be having a different meet).
