Curborough Sprint & Learn event
This is an invite from Club Lancia Sport to other like minded, rally bred, car enthusiasts. We've hired the Curborough circuit (Nr Lichfield) for the afternoon of Saturday 26th April (a week on Saturday) for a non competitive sprint with the added bonus of Prodrive employee and WRC test driver/rally instructor Dave Maslem to sit alongside you & give you some advice, if you need it . The price is £59 for non CLS members, which is excellent value for money, all the details are here www.lanciasport.com - the place for all Lancia enthusiasts. Places are now limited, thus if you are wanting to come along, then please call me on 07979-016274. Many thanks.

have a look at some info about curbrough- not good news. we have also hired it in the past. worth passing this onto other clubs i guess, 29th april closing date for objections to planning development.
Curborough Sprint Course and Shenstone & District Car Club details on homepage of a threat to its continuing use
looks like a cracking little sprint venue may be under threat due to housebuilding development :-(
for anyone who hasnt been its near the A38 Litchfield area, they run sprints/schools/club days there. Proper tarmac track, single car use at a time, not overly restricted at the minute so a favourite venue for clubs etc to book days there at cheap cost.
if you are interested have a read of the homepage and take the time to object to the planning application on the councils own website, bit longwinded to do so but may help prevent the loss of a good cheap venue, not many left these days. A developer is wanting to build 5000 homes on the old airfield; be suprised if a motorsport venue used by thousands of people each year forms any part of their long term plans. :-(
