**** LINCOLN MEET - Sunday 20th January ****
#2
Got the email thanks Kevin.
Any reason for 11am? After 1pm would be more like it Its a sodding Sunday after all !
Should make it. After 1pm means i can ship the girlfriend back home! (Nope she ain't blonde - brunettes are where its at guys )
Is any of you the guy i met in Grantham with the Scooby he was doing up like a p1? We had a quick chat and he had the OZ wheels on his already in laquer finish. He was raving about the spoiler on mine and went off to get his sprayed he had acquired from a written off P1.
Anyway expect my P1 with Subaru Rally stickers and all !

Sounds interesting mate.
I'll see if any of the Hull scoobys fancy a quick trip over the water.
Can we get some lunch at the pride of Lincoln? cos we hull boys think of our food as highly as we think of the scoobs!! We usually meet about 10.30 - 11.00 for a run out and a spot of fodder so that could be nose bag time at lincoln and a buzz out from there!
keep me informed
Tim

Will be there - pub lunch sounds good to me. Scooby poorly at the moment though. Started playing up last week - feels hesitant - as though fuel isnt getting through at around 3000 rpm and overall lack of the usual responsiveness. Took it to Chandlers on Fri - they plugged it in and 10mins later all was ok. However Saturday morning on starting the rev counter was up and down and the car sounded like the Spitfire from Grantham - almost as if it was missing on 1 cylinder. Once it warms up a bit this dissappears but I am back to subdued performance and the same hesitation. Taking it back to Chandlers who I hope will investigate the reason behind this rather than just resetting the computer - or whatever. Any ideas Kev?
See ya all next Sun

11 am it is then chaps - gives us time for a run out plus a pub lunch - I am sure Kevin will know a suitable run & fodder stop.
Nitro burners now on full glow again - and I am not sure if its phychological but I think optimax seems to be a good thing.
Anyway there is a chap just moved in down the next village with an RB5 so I may go and introduce myself and see if he fancies the trip- although he could think I am completely bonkers when I knock on his door - probably in his 80s.
See you there - 11am

The pics are on the following thread

not particulary good for the wing, but you get the idea (blue MY01 WRX grey wheels). Adjustable too!

Hi kevin
I'm coming in from Brigg.
I know where abouts you are,
so I'll see you around 11'ish.
I'm in a 95 wrx in dark blue.
If any one is passing my way i'd like to meet up.
If not I'll see you there.
