Question LJP - Bit of help needed

My scoob's developed a low rev hesitation.
It first happened a couple of weeks ago but was fine after I turned the engine off and restarted it.
Yesterday I had to do a round trip of a round 200 miles. On the way back to Lincoln I noticed the accelleration was muddy at low revs but was fine once the turbo came in.
Yesterday evening the problem became really bad.
On gentle acceleration (around 2k) the car at worst totally bogs down and starts jerking or at best the acceleration is lumpy as ****.

I had the same problem with my old sport a few years ago. That was sorted when it was off the road for a week at scoobyclinic having none related work done.

I've reset the ECU which made no difference.
Reading posts on scoobynet there is often a mention of a problem with the o2 sensor.

I know its a reasonably common problem with Scoobs so:
Has anyone had this problem and sorted it?
And can anyone recomend someone in the Lincoln area who knows Impreza Turbos and will be able to sort this fault?

If not my car will be the one kangarooing at the meet on sunday!

Forgot to mention - W reg MY99 Classic Wagon. Unmodded

Hi mate. My first call would be to Carnetix 01664 562592 speak to Glen or Becky, they are a scooby specialist at Melton Mowbrey excellent company with a refreshing no bullsh1t attitude (where I take mine).
Secondly try Subaru at Belton near Grantham 01476 590077 and ask for Jason the service manager hes a top bloke and will help you out .

Hope this helps and hope to see you Sunday.

Wolfie.

Hi Tony,

give Glenn and Becky a ring.

Sounds sensor related, o2 or maf.
