Question

Anyone going to Trax via the M6 and M40? As I've never been to Silverstone before, it would be nice to go in convoy with someone who knows where they're going.

Martin,

one VERY important thing to bear in mind is that the roadworks on the M6 past Brum have SPECS speed cameras installed.

Hidden away on the existing gantries, and with no radar or laser to give them away, plod must be rubbing his hands in glee as to how many hundreds of thousands of pounds in fines they will take from unsuspecting motorists

Er, sorry, i meant how much safer the worker-less roadworks must be !

Keep to an absolute maximum of 40mph.

Cheers for the warning Martin. I actually enjoy sticking to speed limits in roadworks, if only to see the confused looks on people's faces as they pass me, wondering why I'm going so slowly . Having said that, I tend to head down the M5 to avoid the roadworks as it only adds a few miles to my journey.

Martin.
