Well mines back from paint tommorrow, slammed on coilovers, and treated it to a new mp3 player...
So I'd be up for another pub meet... nearer to Crewe the better... nice pub on the out skirts just off A500... called Tom Coblieghs...

Tom Coblieghs sounds a good place for a meet for a change. Theres a nice large car park. Hows about having one in the evening sometime now its staying light for longer?
Skoosh, Glad to hear your cars nearly off the sick-list.

An evening meet sounds good, but I didn't buy this car to sit in a carpark, don't mind meeting up but we've got to involve a runout aswell.

On the subject of my car, I'm still not convinced it's head gasket as I've run her all week and not one sign of overheating or leaks anywhere, bought all the bloody stuff too at a cost of 225.00 and she's going to Ian for a monday start and a nice bill of 2-300 quid...................!

I wish someone could take her out for a spin and diagnose the "problem" on the spot.

Si.

How about a cheshire tour. Have a (slow) run through cheshire and then head towards crewe to a pub??? There are some nice roads in cheshire and im sure somone must know a couple of them for a good route.

Still alive, still getting let off for speeding, and still smiling!!

By 8pm on the 2nd June I will have just finished surfing for the day, and will be just about drunk enough to be hassling the lovely ladies of Newquay! But I will keep an eye on future events.

As this appears to have turned into a For Sale section, does anyone want to buy a 19month old Impreza WRX with Prodrive springs and a Gp N backbox? One loving owner! a snip at £12k.

Can't remember the name, but someone I was speaking to in Shropshire was after some gold brembo's like mine, well there are some for sale on here at £300 (no idea on condition). I paid £550 for mine and didn't get the brake lines with them (poss no use on a classic anyway).

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=431051

Bear in mind you have to buy new hubs/backing plates/outer driveshafts or buy in a kit from the USA to get the rears to fit!
They'd look nice on your mantlepiece though!

I thought I was joking about the for sale section

Anyway, quick update: Am currently hacking around in a Zafira GSi after the Scoob blew up on Friday!!!! I suppose I should just be happy that it lasted 18months and 38,000miles!!! I may even end up with a free new engine courtesy of Subaru!!

No idea what is wrong with it yet (my guess is Cambelt or ECU), and they are not even looking at it until Friday. Anyway, I will let you all know what it is when I find out.

Cambelt or ecu..............................come off it Ron, it may have something to do with the fact that you spin ALL 4 wheels on takeoff and think you're always late...................

Hope u get it sorted mate so you come on a run soon.
