Cool Darlaston Crew AFFRO??????

Ok chaps thought we could do with a bit of a different meet this time, so here it is, the Darlaston Crew's..................................

August Family Fun Run Out!!!!!!

The date is either sunday the 15th or 22nd, depending on which suits the most people.

The idea is to meet at the Darly at about 10am and then have a steady run up to Southport for the day.
As its a family event and it will be a STEADY run (jolley) , it doesnt matter if if you aint got a scoob, any form of transport will do.

so get your name down peeps, would love to see a good turn out for this one.

oat

p.s. if you dont like the venue and someone can come up with a better one, then lets have some ideas, remember its YOUR meet.

Yeah, put mr and mrs skoosh and kids down for this one.

Be good if we could get at least 3 cars this time

Penfold, there's a wrx wagon for sale on A34, liverpool road, cross heath, newcastle ( same side as newcastle college, opposite classy chassiss ) at Newcastle motors that used to be a SKODA dealership.

It's silver on an N-plate I think, 5-5.5k.

Could be worth checking it out mate.

Skoosh.

ps: check out the red wrx wagon in for sale section - looks mint for 4995.00

Pen, I've been to look at that wagon today, details are as follows:

1994 - M reg
mileage - 55000
colour - silver bodywork, blue wrx buckets, grey dash
transmission - manual
wheels - later model 16" 5-spokes with brand new michelins
turbo gauge on steering column - 2 bar
3 gauges on central console
fantastic sony flip front remote ctl headunit
subaru splashguards front and rear
sva'd 6 weeks ago
11 months tax and mot

price - £5995, but I did ask and the sales guy said that they were open to a cash negotiation.

My opinion for what it's worth is that it's a very tidy motor inside and out, the engine bay is spotless although I'm not sure whether thisi is a good or bad thing (?) mine is too but I've done that myself !!! One thing I did notice was that after letting it idle for a few minutes and revving it, it did smoke a little. They did also say that they weren't sure if the cambelt had been changed which is normally at 45k.

I think it's worth a look and they're open tomorrow from 11-4, it's next to Castletown motors on A34, Newcastle under Lyme.

There's also one for sale on a P-reg, silver classic saloon but it looks a little too chavved up for a first time buyer as most guys on here prefer to mod the car's themselves, but each to his own, this one is on the forecourt at Classy chassis across the road next to the TA barracks priced at 6.5k I think.

Hope this is of some help mate, see how you get on and good luck, and, with a little bit of luck you could be ready for the Darly AFFRO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers mate.
