Could some one please tell me where and when the scooby meet is in Northampton.

 

it is usually first Sunday of the month at the Queen Eleanor P.H. in Northampton.

I had just come on to see if it was on on Sunday 6th June.

Yep Northants meet Sunday the 6th of June at the QE from 7pm onwards.

 

ill be there as usual any excuse to go for a pint. hope weathers good too

 

We'll be there but could be a bit late because we are going to the Days of Thunder ascar racing at Rockingham on Sunday, and it usualy takes ages to get out of the car park on a busy day (30,000+ people expected but I think that may be because 50 cent is doing a gig).

Is anyone else going to Rockingham?

 

Yep we are at Rockingham on Sunday give us a shout and we can drive over to the meet

Think I have to wait until I actually get the turbo (should be before xmas), as I know you wont welcome my MR2.

Might be needing to look at the cars for research at some point, especially if anyone has a 1997-99 uk model.

 

Even more the reason to pop up to the QE. Nice cross section of cars and they are not all turbos.

Brett, the pipe is on and working well. I actually had the centre cat replacement already, so I now have a spare centre de-cat (bit after the downpipe)

Noticing better torque and some nice whistling sound from the turbo (to go with the induction, dump valve etc.....), some real vodoo sounds!

The engine light has not come on yet. I know it was working becasue it came on the other week when maxing it back from Castle Combe (it does sometimes, especially when going to Le Mans). How long did the light take to come on when it was fitted to yours?

Glad to see the pipe went on Stevie who fitted it Elvis? The light took about a month to come on when I fitted it. Nice extra torque and sounds really nice too I agree big grin factor all round then

Not sure about this months meet as I will be at an italian car drooling event during the day, so time wise I don't know.
Plus b/f would need a huge amount of arm-twisting as he is not a scoob fan.
Could always turn up by myself.

Yeah, it was Elvis who fitted it. Just went in first thing Tuesday, picked it up at 14:30. It seems to be getting more progressive now, maybe the ECU is adapting to it.
