Wink anyone on here up for this?

SCOOBYCITYS EAST COAST CHARITY RUN - Sunday 2nd May

After the success of last years Children in Need Convoy (where we raised over
£900 with 70 Subarus) it is Charity Convoy time again. This time it is drive
around the East Coast starting at Thurrock Services M25 and finishing Hunstanton
North Norfolk - total distance approx. 200 miles. There will be several stops on
the way so you don’t have to do the whole route if you don’t want.

The beneficiaries this time will be Cancer Research UK and The Macmillan Nurses.
This has been decided through the thoughts expressed by our members after the
sad loss of one of our members to cancer. I'm sure Cancer has touched the lives
of each and every one of you in some way so we are hoping people will dig deep
for this.

You will need to print off a copy of the sponsorship form which you can get by
clicking the link below...

http://scoobycity.co.uk/sponsorform.htm
Just click the print button in your web browser

(If you have any problems printing this off please reply to this email)

You must try to get a minimum of £5 pledged in order to take part.

Here is the route....

Arrive Thurrock Services 9 am to leave for 9.30.

M25 A12 first stop Copdock Services for approx. 10.45 leaving 11.15.

A12 onto Great Yarmouth stopping at Citygrove Retail Park, Gapton Hall Road for
approx. 1 pm leaving 1.30 pm

Then the fun begins leave Great Yarmouth with a quick blast down the sea front
keeping to the coast road. A149 Caster and then picking up the B1159 to Cromer
and then the A149 round to Hunstanton for approx 3.30 pm. This road is simply
excellent.

So there you have it. I know it’s a lot to do in one day with travelling
to Thurrock and from Hunstanton but with the stops in between you don’t
have to do the whole journey but it would be great if you can. We will also be
covered by local radio and TV.

So far we have 50 cars down for this event but we would like to break the 100
car barrier if possible so please try to make it.

We have very kindly had a £ 100 voucher donated by www.scoobyworld.co.uk This
voucher will be going to the person/car who raises the most money with thier
sponser form.

Greenways have also kindly agreed to lend a car to our Danny our Chairman (who
is currently without an engine).
