Hows sunday 2nd Feb for every one for next meet, same venue the crown Glinton about 14:00, they serve dinner there if you want it till about 16:00, Or we can see if the Lincoln scoobys want to meet with us half way somewere on the same day post your views.



Changed the day has it clashes with santa pod but if there is any who wants to keep to 25th Jan then thats ok with me.

The 25th is a Saturday. If you want to make it on Sunday 26th we will not be able to make it as it is the Jap Car meet at Santa Pod!! If anyone from Peterborough wants to join us for a cruse over there then they are more than welcome.

 

same here going to santa pod, lets all meet up and travel down in convoy, there is a couple of decent pubs on the way back home aswell, The Mill is oundle is very good.

Missed the last one (although I'd planned to come) and will defintely miss this one as I'll be sat (all being well) on an aeroplane winging my way (with wife) to Egypt for some holiday. . . . . :-)

 

I'm in for a cruise to the pod, where will all be meeting and what time to cruise there.

We could meet up at the extra Services Station, It is located on the A1M rounabout and the A605 to Northampton. I will try to post up a map when I get a min. Santa pod is approx 30 mins drive from the services, I think they do super as well.

Is anyone going to go up the strip? Last time I killed the clutch, but am going prepared this time (AP 4 Paddle)

How many lincoln lot do you think you can gather together

Being relativley new to subaru what goes on at a jap car meet : confused.

A Jap Car meet is basically a glorified run what you brung event which means you can take your car down the strip and **** your clutch if you wish. Might do a few runs, there will be alot of cars there, but will take it easy as last time there was a strange smell, emmm wonder what that could have been???

 

Does anyone know what time it starts, to determine what time we meet?

Starts around 9.30/10.00 getthere early if your running may be a large q if weathers nice(not likly!!)

 

I think we shoud meet up at the services on the A605/A1M Junction, Is anyone planning to go down the strip, I know i wouldnt mind another go coz you dont have to **** your clutch, I managed a couple of 13.8s pulling away pretty gently.

I Think we should all meet up at 9.00 and depart around 9.15 and go in convoy. Last year when I went I got there late and queued for 3 hrs to get tickets to run.

Let me know what you all want to do. I am also up for the meet in the usual place the following weekend.

PS if you intend to go up the strip make sure you have your driving license
