Please disregard that previous comment!

I know you will need a longstanding friend of good character and repute to arrange shipment of the 22B.

Someone who will supervise the documentation sort out administration and look after it pending shipping to the Antipodes.

Don't think you ahve the capacity to commnet, now dyslexia thats another thing

And my comapny was more semi-detached than semi-tolerable.
Despite the size of that field, penguins would have found it difficult to get closer together.

I chose a spot behind that old sleeper to gain some personal space!
Even so Slider proved an inadequate defence, so I had to drag that big wooden log down as well

Mine too although we had a few breaks on route , which would only have added to the mileage!

Stick to Autoroute +2.5% next time that's what mine reads all the time, never had any probs with it before

BTW WCT3 was done on a different system which has now been dumped

An excellent outing courtesy of the dynamic duo. A selection of great roads complemented by good food, loads of beer (as usual) & great company (well maybe not that great )

Good to catch up with the usual suspects in Wales. First time I’ve been able to make it, that will teach you for moving the dates, one more week and I’d have been abroad.

Not too sure camping provides suitable accommodation for a menopausal old git like me. But as I wasn’t bitten, frozen, or poisoned by Mellows cooking I may risk another venture into the wilderness.
Having thrown away the instructions it shouldn't take one hour and two rows with the wife to get the tent erected next time

Thanks again to Chris and Martin for all the hard work, our beaver leader for food & instruction and the rest of the campers for a good nights entertainment. (certain individuals should have their licence endorsed & be prevented from taking the wheel of a bumper car for life )

Should also add thanks to Slider for the superb lead out on Sunday afternoon.

Good progress combined with traffic awareness and a version of morse code played on the right indicatior, was that dot dot and DASH .

Maintained a quick pace keeping the group together without the need to stop and regroup.

Job well done m8 and ScooBabe only miss read one turn.

Whilst we are dishing out thanks......

Thanks Scoobabe, Heather and Graham for the perfect execution of "the plan" on Saturday night

Thanks Banshi for waiting for me after I decided to explore some of the route that *wasn't* planned, I was so focused in trying to catch a certain black Evo, that I had not noticed he had turned off.

Thanks Mellow for the grub and general "mother hen" of the group, oh and for that lovely drink on Saturday night, still haven't decided what was in it!

Thanks Graham for the lending of a radio, very handy over the weekend, one squirrel in particular kept his life due to warning.

..and thanks to the rest of you for a great weekend, some fantastic yet safe driving, and good company.

Oh dear, surely there will be a leaving doooh!

Nice to see you dear, the new semi-wed lifestyle worked wonders. Your company was almost tolerable this w/e.

Although there was the 10.30 at the services, 1.30 at the pub, see you at the campsite scenario. Some things never change

We had a great time too!

Thanks to everyone who helped make two "virgin campers" feel welcome, and thanks again to Boomer and CharlieW for fantastic routes.

Mellow... make me some more bacon butties, and I'll think about baking you a cake .

Banshi,

"only missed one turn",.... just checking you were still awake...wasn't it Shirley that spotted the deliberate mistake

Have to agree with you re run, well done and thanks Michael. Good to have impromptu stop to tame a few sheep, courtesy of Neil or was it Matt and Michelle. Possibly Mellow had already had it on the way through.

Ianc, good to meet you. It was good to be in on 'the plan', you weren't sussed eh?
If ever Michelle gives you any more trouble, a quick shove out the back door on her backside is always easily arranged again between us I think
You know why she 'insisted' I buy that Stella eh? I left it in the back of her car....enjoy Chelle an Rich

Michelle, thanks for the impromtu tour of Staffs on Sunday, a good opportunity to stuff chocolate and ice cream, down our selves...cheers Rich, great to meet you

I'm awake now....

Fantastic weekend.....great roads, amazing scenery, met some nice people, ate some chips next to the sea, and drank beer.

Doesn't get much better does it?!! Thanks CW & Boomer for organising such an excellent tour - can't fault it!

(Perhaps the nightclub could have had a slightly better DJ? )

Thank-you all for coming along

Apart from the drive, the most fun is whatever we get up to on the Saturday evening - and that is purely down to the folks that turn up.

Skittles, wagon wheels, dodgem cars, fish and chips, missed sunsets , peeing against the hedge, the milky way, dirty pints, burnt sausages, birthday cakes, litres of vodka, Mellow's chat-up lines, sheep sounds, the Irish sea, seven legged spiders, 110-volts, air-bed pumps, dodgey conveniences, late bars...

Plus the kids in Bala, cajun chicken, erectile information, sunshine, Optimax (usually ), friendly sheep, bacon butties, winding roads, stunning valleys, brilliant weather...

By turning up, you make it happen

Couldn't agree more Martin, It's why we do it!

I find the recce's a piece of cake, and as 'chelle often says 'they're better than the event! Although I did rather enjoy my solo A4120 to Devils Bridge! Cracking road that!

With modern technology the routes are easy to write, even if Boomers odometer is about +2.5%

Glad everyone had a great time, I certainly did! Thanks Richard for the Ice cream on Sunday, although it was a bit much (for the girls more than me, and the wasps! )

Gotta fit in a couple more events before 'chelle emigrates to the wonderful Oz! Your turn next muppet! Name the date...

Thanks all for turning up, you all made it worthwile, especially a couple of you who well know who you are

"With modern technology the routes are easy to write, even if Boomers odometer is about +2.5%"

I must admit that i was hitting significant turn-points a few tenths early - in the same car as during the reccy. However, i did have new Toyo Proxes on for the trip.

It is surprising how a couple of mill tread depth can influence actual route mileages!!!
