This came up recently (can't remember where though 
)
Thought I best get the ball rolling as I've heard of places getting booked up for Christmas already (any idea how many shopping days left anyone?) and September is almost upon us.
Basic outline of the Saturday evening...
Arrive in Birmingham late afternoon or tea time. Check into the hotel, get changed into your best clobber and then set about getting massively wrecked in the large number of plubs and clubs on Broad Street. Those who are still standing (ie not Mr Mellow Yellow
) finish off with a curry before retiring to the hotel to get into trouble for making too much noise 
Probably a change of hotel this year due to last years gaff jacking the rates up
Note, hotel details are not published on-line for security reasons should people drive down and park up. Me, I got the train last year. Broad Street is about 15/20 mins walk from New Street Station (ideal for us Northerners who are too tight to get a taxi).
So, who's up for it this year? I'll open the bidding and suggest either 7th or 14th December.
