Michelle,
aye, Sat, the 8th, tomorrow, starts at 15:00 (but get there a little earlier)!!!
The place is only a couple of minutes off the M42 (but beware that there are a couple of live GATSOs in the 30 limit!).

Splendid day - nice track, good organisation, kind weather, good bunch of participants.
I still can't work out where they added the extra 500 yards of track whenever i drove, as this obviously increase my lap times
I hope to post some pictures tomorrow - no point doing it now 'cos you are probably all well bladdered in the hotel bar
Thanks to Banshi and Neil for the idea and implementation.

Great Pics Boomer!
Thanks to Banshi, Neil & family for the organisation.
It was great fun even having to carry the biggest weight handicap, but I suppose this will give me a good excuse for losing until my Karting improves!!!
We have a lot on for the next few weeks, especially with Laura now in the busiest time with her GCSE's, so it may be a little while before we can do it again. Look forward to it all the same.
Good to meet up with the Cat. crowd again, pity some couldn't make it, hopefully we can get to see the un-shown vids soon!
Cheers everyone,
Steve & T' Pit Crew.

As an extra-special treat, i have included a bit of audio towards the bottom of the page. It is around half a meg in size, so you might want to do a right-click and "Save Target As..." rather than download in realtime.
Enjoy the authentic Brummy accent

Sorry for a slow response but still on a high when we returned late last night we grabbed a few large drinks and reviewed the weekend photos. Fortunately I'd taken the lense cap off this time Of course they don't compare to shots in the Catalunya album, thanks for letting me take those along Chris.
All who attended, the drivers, the "pit crew", spectators, family, circuit management and even the marshals (I actually completed a full race without a black flag!) made it an event worthy of the first Cat Reunion.
But those of you who achieved podium places know your positions result from our star driver being forced to retire injured after a major incident. The remaining blue team members then strove valliantly to bring their damaged kart home, I am assured that the time lost equated to around five lost laps so.......erm how does it go........oh yes, I/we will be back.
The hospitality of Kingsbury Gun Club, Clem and family, rounded off by an excellent charity bash at the local made Sunday equally rewarding.
Is that bloke Rum good at everything? Fastest lap and highest number of kills!
So Shirley and I would just like to say THANK YOU to everyone who came along on Saturday and to all the people we met on Sunday. You made it a great weekend and it was worth every second we spent in the M6 traffic.
