Whoops

Went to upgrade ios on iphone 3gs

unfortunately it had been prev jailbroken/unlocked, so now won't recognise my (vodaphone) SIM.

Looked at Redsnow 0.9.10b6 /ios5 Firmware all day but cant get Redsnow to recognise the IPSW.

I know there is a newer all singing/dancing redsnow version but it can wreck phone if it was produced in early 2011 (compatability issue?)

any genius here who can advise?

Maybe its best to stick in an orange PAYG sim -restore- then go for an unlock?

All sorted now - needed to download IPSW via chrome, to avoid incompatabilities.
Then loaded....and hey Presto...all working but no phone function....

so noted peeps have had same problems with this " 0.6.15. baseboard version" so then reloaded an earlier baseband version via redsnow 0.9.14b2

Loaded untrasn0w to unlock SIM and its all good now fully singing and dancing again with iOS 5.1.1
