I saw the guys at Hughberry doing a fire drill today
I'm glad it wasn't my silver classic

Well thats my secret out.
It was mine. I got a dirt cheep silver classic salon to play with at the pod. I took it down to my mate at hughberry's to see what was wrong and what needed doing before i decided to go any further. On the test the oil feed went and hit the down pipe by the looks of it but luck it did not distroy the car. Now need to fully check the rest of the engine now to see what else is wrong with it. Now i know why it was only a couple of hundred quid.

Though they did do a very reasonably priced job for me today: Oil, Oil filter, NGK 7's plugs & a compression test.

Looking at the pipes on the engine most will need replacing as cracked and brittle but steve was very lucky as he was driving it. It was only dropped off today and first drive out.

LOL would love to have seen that. He was still shaking when i left him. The car is now at a mates house under cover till it can be looked over again. Bloody santa pod bug lol.

It was guna be a play thing to use on rwyb days and with it being offered to me at a right steel it was worth the chance. Time will tell now on what else is wrong with it. Nothing was damaged in the fire just alot of black crap.
