Default White Smoke from Turbo

Hi peeps when driving the car after 5 mins the white smoke just floods out of the scoop and sides of the bonnet. No lack of power and boosts ok but has a strange smell? Could anyone advice?

Could be a water hose leaking. have you checked the coolant level?

Are your headers/up-pipe wrapped - if so they could just be burning off moisture

Same kind of thing happened to me, was leaking coolant on to the block and burning it off when up to temp. Didn`t notice it when driving, just when stopped at lights, junctions, etc.

Have you checked whether Ricky has been working on or near your engine? If not then you can rule that out.

Guess what I think u hit the nail on the head. I just when out in the freezing cold and the coolant is low! Could not c it as the coolent bottle has been changed when I fitted my front mount.
Ian how did u resolve it?

On mine it was the head gasket leaking and blowing water out, but there`s so many pipes across the top of the block you`d need to do some investigating first.
I just chucked some Radweld in. Yeah i know it`s a bodge, but was just a temp fix till i changed the gaskets.

Glad it doesn't sound serious mate, you need bit of luck with your Scooby. Would be good to see the finished item at the ace in June.

Tell me about it, turns out to be worse than I thought was nothing to do with the coolant but the bangoo or bagoo pipe split and was leaking oil. Did u get yourself a bearing yet?
