Default ** URGENT ** HDi top mounting bracket

On the way home just now from work heard a "ping" noise and a rattle but was too late as I was just approaching a speed hump!!

My HDi Hybrid FMIC top mouting bracket had snapped in half. Now I can't get the car out as it has dropped some what. I have a higher dropped kerb and speed humps to get by so I am stuffed. Already smacked the pipework and cooler itself.

Has anyone on here got a spare mouting bracket I can take off them?

Should be able to use another car shortly once the other half is back home from shopping to get it off you.

Hi Jon, thanks for the reply mate.

Managed to do a temp job to get me through next week for work. Went to the local DIY shop and made some brackets for the time being.

Cheers Pete. Where did yours break? Mine broke on the angled section.

I've added something under the cooler itself and bolted it in to the old undertray screw holes. So if my hand work does not work least it won't drop down as much and the emergency brackets hold it.

My japspeed one has a bracket on top that goes to a pseudo bumper bar as well as 2 flanges that screw into the undertray holes, seems quite logical
