You wont max it out with that lot. I dont think its about maxing it out but the additional features that a few other ECU's can offer. I wouldnt bother changing the ECUtek ECU unless youa re thinking about 450bhp plus maybe.

AS Ricky has mentioned, the standard ecu can easily cope with 450+ if mapped correctly, which is far more than a 20g will ever do on pump fuel

Thanks Gents. at the mo the boost is 1.55 1.6, with the other mods (3 port) will it bring the boost down to a safer level or will it increase? 390 400 is what im looking for and i dont want the torque far off but then my Exedy clutch my give in?

Exedy Pink wont give in IMO.
The boost levels & whether it is safe is really all down to the mapper & his overall map. I would give Rich a go at mapping it through, IIRC Open source, if he can.

just my pence worth. EcuTek flash is very good. A lot better than what people give it credit for.

I would have kept mine but wanted to run ALS,Launch and switch maps on the fly. I also had the problem of the EML coming up and the car feeling slugish due to the CAIK and the good old trusted MAF. The ECU didn't like it and kept throwing the EML hence the purchase sooner for the Simtek.

Simtek over the EcuTek is even better. But Syvecs over Simtek is better too. Horses for Courses etc.

EcuTek will serve you fine if you want to take it up a notch. Just becuse I had a problem with the MAF/dv delete doesn't mean you will.
