Okay team MLR, here's the list of work to do and materials needed. Please stick your name down for anything (labour or materials) that you feel you can help out with

Sunroof blanking panels - sheet steel/aluminium needed.

Two additional wheels to make one full spare set.

Tyres - We have someone in mind to deal with this

Perspex front windows - Material for 1 car needed. following last years race this seems like a good idea.

Bonnet mods - I'll bring the plasma cutter to the next meet.

Paint - need to ask Jon if he's seen anything lying around at work

There are several other small mechanical/electrical jobs that need doing.
The plan is to get pretty much all of this wrapped up at the next sunday meet which should be on the 15th august.

Were we not going to get Arkwright to help us with the suspension or do we know what to do or have we scrapped the idea?

As with Ricky any thing you guys can't handle, I'll be on hand to solve

I should be able to take care of the small mechanical jobs...... if Ricky doesn't get there first, and turn them into large mechanical jobs! LOL

Depends what paint you are after, I have some stuff in the garage but you'll need a compressor and some thinners unless you want to brush it on. I have a spray gun and some filters.

I have VW yellow (approx 4L)
White cellulose high build (approx 3L)
Black cellulose (approx 1/2L)

We don't have a paint shop at work, and most aircraft are now going grey. I'll ask around and see if I can tap-up some old contacts. Biggest problem is because of the regulations getting stricter we've out-sourced the majority of painting.

And I shall be making a trophy to be presented to the MSOC member that has made the most effort in preperation for the MLR 500 & during the MLR500! The trophy is going to made out of something some of you may remember from last years event & can get passed along every year to that years winner. ps we can take a vote at the MLR.

So the master bodger shall be making a trophy for the best non bodger of the event!
