help please go the blitz tried to fit it today but it came up to short i think the decat front pipe is shorter than standard 2 cats but have just found out theres a difference in the blitz systems depending weather it jdm or euro anybody know what the difference is between the two, also think the down pipe is from a classic as the o2 sensor is at the top behind the turbo and the bug eye is normally down lower?

Classic downpipe is shorter than the newage one - however both systems are the same overall length, and are interchangeable if you are swapping the entire system from the turbo back. The only other difference is the orientation of the front hanger on the backbox (which can just be left disconnected)

Sounds like you've got a classic downpipe fitted.

Cut the flange off the centre section and extend it with some 3" stainless pipe, then TIG it together so that it meets your downpipe correctly.

Your downpipe is probably 3", and the blitz tapers to 2.5" to mate to the factory downpipe. You need to fit a 3" flange to your blitz or, as I did, get a different centre section.

hi mate what a mare! the down pipe is a standard wrx cat type the 3rd decat bit is a 2.5 inch decat pipe witch is fine the problem is the flange where the bolt holes are is to small so cant get the bolts through the flange size needed is hole to hole 4.5 inch the decat is less than that, the pipe looks like a made up thing welding not brill gonna try a chap i know in hayes tomorrow to weld the flange i have of another pipe i orderd that was wrong but does have the right size flange (thats a original subaru part steel but will do) or my other option is a standard uk 3rd cat if any one has one free or very cheap..
