Default 95 WRX RA

Managed a couple of pics of my wry ra after a quick clean. Its a daily driver but would love to do a restoration job like some on here have. I have a boot with the low level spoiler as well, seem to have grown on this look instead! Thanks.

Nice, don't let mattyb see that he'll be round with a trailer and some of his dodgy mates.

Thanks for the comments, its on the register at type-ra.com marco58. It was bought from a member off there October last year. It was i think 3rd from left in the 20 years of Impreza pic taken at the Prodrive day. I've got the numbered sticker here from the 300 as well.
Powerwrx, i had the owner already ask to buy it back as well! I couldn't think of anything for this money that would be as much fun to drive, so i'll hold on as long as i can before i have to sell.
Thanks.

Love it, I really like to see a classic that still looks as it did. I don't know much about the RAs but I assume they command quite a premium over the more common models?

Hi cheekyron,
Have a look on the type-ra.com site. Its full of good info, and has spec sheets and timelines for most of the import spec early impreza's. I would say the STI RA's are the ones that most people want, they usually have the DCCD gearbox and a better spec. This will do me until my lottery numbers come up, or the mortgage is paid off!

Nice unmolested examples are chap, but then you can say the same about any classic.

Ra as a daily, it'd need to be a very short commute or a twisty one with that gearbox

I don't know what you mean!! Its a good flashback to the days of 4 speed gearboxes, no aircon, manual windows, no central locking, 50mph+ speeds being conversation killers inside etc.... at least it desn't have a manual choke as well!

All these mint Type RA's on here at the moment, Im thinking that these are going to be future classic, prices seem to be rising slowly over the years and it seems everyone on here love a standard white Type RA.

Haha exactly, glad I've got a diesel runaround as well with all the creature comforts for when I do need to use a motorway !

The old man in me would like to dynamat the hell out of it and fit a 6 speed box, but you might as well sell up and buy a bug/blob sti. Looks like there are a few who would have this off me anyway, which is always good to know!

Dream Type RA would be a Version 4 STi type RA in white with newage JDM bottom end and UK Hawk STi 6 speed with widetrack suspension/parts etc running AP or Brembo brakes with standard 5x114 widetrack enkei wheels with nothing more then a full stainless steal exhaust and a remap!!!exterior wise and engine wise looking standard!!

Even got it planned out in my head!! mmm I wonder if I could take a project like this on!!
