Default Newage 17's

Really thinking of dropping down to 17's for road usage.

My car uses 18" PFF7's day to day and I put OEM 17's on for track days.

I really think I prefer the look of 17's with slightly chunkier tyres, so when my 18" tyres are ready for swapping I may consider a wheel swap too.

What options are out there? I need to clear Brembo's, obviously - but also need to retain options for a break conversion in the future and don't want to be running silly camber to make them fit.

Would appreciate pictures, hence posting in Gallery to help me decide

Yeee, your sense is now kicking in. You have 114 pcd so there will not be as popular as others as 100 pcd.
I know rota gra clear just about.
Pm m4ggy for options I'm sure he'll guide you through some options

I have an 05 sti also running on the standard wheels and tbh I cant ever see myself changing them to 18s.

The car just seems to drive so well on the standard 17s and I think they look great especially powder coated in anthracite!!

If you want some chunky meaty looking tyres why not try the Bridgestone RE070....pretty meaty and look brilliant with the half normal half track type tread!!

That looks ace

I've got R888's currently on my 17's and they look ace, but not practical for normal use! Will definitely consider the Bridgestones though.

Might even consider another set of OEM wheels, but would still like to see my options

114 wheels with 235/45/17 always look better on widetrack sti's

I've always had a thing for Team Dynamics 1.2's. May look into fitment/costs for those.

good deal on re070 just now camskill compared to not too long ago, i run 18" ultralite's during the 3 seasons and run enkei 17" with re070 when its not greasy or on track, 17" does give a better feel but my 18's are much lighter
