Default Spec C Roof Vent Fitted to my hatch

Think this is a first over this side of the water as I know it's been done in the states.

But after some thinking and viewing on Nasioc I thought bugger it I want one.

I wont bore you with all 78 pictures of fitting it and cutting etc etc but here are a couple of snaps of my efforts.

I know there are many hatch haters on here so I wouldn't be surprised if there were negative comments.

Heres the complete kit which I ordered through subaru Uk

lined up after doing the underside jobs

cutting the hole

Thumbs up she's out

fitting the support underneath

Cutting the roof lining

Fascia clipped into place

Open vent

Closed vent

Thats all folks

Very good mate....love the roof vents, cold in winter though as there's no point in having it and having it closed!

takes a brave man to cut a hole in his cars roof, hats off to you, looks like it was factory fitted and suits the car very well.

No negativity from me.... I've had 2 fitted so far and I'm on number 3 now as the RA has one as standard, brilliant mod not only visually but for usage

The roof wasn't as bad as i thought nerve wise, it was more the inside roof lining I was bricking it lol

Roughly the same as buying the kit from Japan parts & paying delivery in the end, long story but what was thought to come with the kit didn't so had to order more parts.
