Took my lady on her first trackday yesterday to Snetterton 300.
We went in my daily, which is a stock Clio 182 with both "cup" upgrade packs. Didnt get overtaken by a single car all day, the Clio was faultless and we were grinning like kids all day.
She absolutely loved it and can't wait to go again.

Dont we look a right pair! haha

She knows shes my #1

It was damn cold mate, but she loved it. Now all she wants to do is go again. Haha

Renault claim 182ps, so approx 180bhp and 1080kg
I think in reality they're about 170/175bhp. But they're a gutsy little motor with a chassis that's absolutely superb. I'd give anything to get my Impreza to handle as good as my cup packed Clio.

As of Sunday in the conditions it was faster than,
Modified RX8s, cooper S's, Mountune Focus ST, TVR Tuscans, modified EVO 8 MR, Astra VXRs, and a 996 GT3.
Straight line speed isn't what the Clio is about. But the ability to carry monsterous corner speeds is where it excels. It's nimble, light and changes direction like a chased rabbit.
The chassis is so balanced you can really take the **** with it.
Like I said, I'd do anything to get my Impreza to drive anywhere near as good as the Clio.
Those Renaultsport boys seriously know how to build a fun car.

Looks fantastic. Ive owned 2 in black/gold and I adore em lol but never got the chance to take them on track which was always a regret. Always used to love pissing off other drivers in quicker cars down A and B roads thinking they could lose a little clio
Mission accomplished! Working on getting my other half into a co driver seat for some club man rallying.
Its the unpredictable ******** that keep me off the track, got to be done this year tho!
