Default My STi UK PPP

I bought this car on Saturday. Has had some decent/serious mods done by a previous owner...has since been abused (possibly tracked) and not really maintained. Will be treated with love/much maintenance by me/Powerstation from now on.

Anyone who knows anything about this car, any info would be greatly appreciated.

If Jolly Green Monster is a member on here and can let me know anything about this car, that would also be greatly appreciated. This car has forged pistons and was clearly remapped at some point...but was there a second re-map after a 1000-mile run-in?

Get some tardis and clay on those side skirts, would recommend a fallout remover to bring it back. Looks a nice motor

Cheers guys,

I was expecting someone to make comments about tyre stretch and how this should be a race/rally car, but thanks for a 100% warm reception to the Scooby scene.

I have some Prosport gauges and a Defi pod on order from Scoobyworld and a Thule roof rack (I do a LOT of road cycling...it's not for scene points with the kiddywinkles).

Click ->
<- for a link to a video of the car on Powerstation's rolling road.

Click ->
<- for a quick clip of the car on idle. Lots of steam as there was water in the exhaust, post-wash.

Will give the car a full detail when she's back. I have pretty much everything Auto Glym and Muck Off sell, so she'll be shining like a diamond.

Coming soon:
ICE
Thule roof rack
Tarox BBK
Private plate AA53 PPP (my initials, the car's age and the prodrive initials)

Had this replaced on Wednesday (12/12/12). Along with the £1700 bill from powerstation, it wasn't an ideal start to Scooby ownership.

CF lip arrived this week.

Plans for the next few days:

Fit Thule bike bars today (14/12/2012)

Fit blue Tarox 6-pot BBK Monday (17/12/12) as well as CF lip some other bits which need tidying up (new ARB droplinks, exhaust gaskets)

Finish ICE install Tuesday (18/12/12)

LOVING THIS!!!

Whats the wheel spec, and also where did you get the Bottomline kit from?
Is it really that low at the front or is that the point where your sloping driveway levels out?
Very nice motor!

Very nice motor!

They're by Rota I'm afraid, a copy of some Advans I think. They're Rota Force Drift. They're 9J ET35 as far as I can remember. The arches have been rolled by Arch enemy but they fitted under there without any problem. When I bought the car the Rotas came with it. I also own some 3SDM 0.05 wheels which I will put on for shows as I like the look but they're heavy. The 3SDMs are 9.5J which is why the arches are rolled.

My driveway makes the front look a little lower than it should - the car does not scrape on speed bumps but it does scrape if I come down a slope onto a flat. For example if I am coming down a slope in an NCP car park onto a lower level the front will scrape but only on the underside of the splitter.

I got the Chargespeed bits from someone on eBay. I think I paid about 600 in total for the rear spats and side skirt bits. The front lip was from JM carbon but they've stopped selling them - you can still find them from other sellers on eBay though. I got my wind deflectors on eBay for £65 which I thought was quite cheap. Most of my other parts have come from Scoobyworld.
