Default A little touring car influence lol

Watching touring cars yesterday and liked the look of the white letters on the tyres, so went out today and got a tyre marker and had a little play lol
it looks pretty good when they are spinning around when your driving

Is the paint cracking as the tyre goes round? I did this to my tyres many moons ago and after a few drives it looked pony. could be the cheap paint I used (yes it was for tyres)

Mate seriously those budget tyres are not worthy of your scoob, I bet they are terrible in the wet to. They maybe cheap, but there's a reason for that lol. Oh and they will wear out in no time, if you drive it as it should be driven.

Just out of curiosity I thought I'd have a quick Google and see what the fuss was about.
Have a look at these reviews of Sunny tyres
http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Sunny/SN3800_2.htm

Ultimately it's your money, your car, and your choice.

just shocked tbh as you obviously look after your car and spend money on it and have fitted budget tyres to it.

See where your all coming from ref budget tyres but It was a case of having to, wasn't expecting to need any tyres for another year but had to get some ASAP exactly the same time as paying the balance on my all inclusive holiday abroad in x8 weeks time and with our crappy weather I ain't gonna sacrifice missing out on some proper hot sunny relaxing

I can concur that Tommy can in fact smile

That said i have budget tyres that i bought on the wheels i picked up off here. Nothing wrong with them until you need to use what the car is capable off. It squirrels around that much my *** has taken bites out my seat like a fat man his first mcdonalds in 2 hours. I will definitely be saving for some potenzas so i can use the car in the wet again.

Its like driving an understeering railcar with budgets

Not my cup of tea but it's your car at the end of the day.

As for budget tyres i dont see a problem with them. I had a set on my track wheels as my R888's didnt turn up in time and back to back with a similar spec car with Yokohamas on it was very hard to tell the difference. Even my mate who is a national rally champion said they didnt feel much different compared to the price diference. Budgets were £250 for 4 or Yokos for £460 for 4.

In the dry maybe but not in the wet and seeing as most of our time on the roads is in the wet its probably not a wise choice. Plus budgets tyres will not last that long! Might as well get a decent set and save money in the long run.
