Default Not a scoob ...but it was VW Suspension Day

The good lady has a very nice Anniversary Golf MK3 and whilst it is in preety good condition, the suspension was 'shocking', really crashy, terrible on potholes and knocking at the rear. Ordered some new suspension with a 40mm drop and as I was *ahem* working from home yesterday, myself and Paulo got to work.

Fronts beforehand

Manky wheelarches

A liberal use of degreaser and a scrubbing brush later

The after shots

Now for the rears, not as bad but still dirty

And after

Cant believe the arches are actually blue underneath all that muck !
Car now sits much better and whilst the ride is still hard (she likes it like that ) it handles and drives far better than before with no knocking.

Sorted

Looks like the new ones have made a nice drop

What degreaser did you use - looks like it's pretty good

That's the old suspension and the front was ridiculously low and it made the car look chavvy

I also hated the mark 4 style headlights that were on it when she bought it but it sits much better now and has the Hella headlights you see in the 2nd picture
