Show us your runabout car
What with petrol prices rising all the time and I am now having to do a 70mile commute each day, I thought I'd buy a runabout car to try and save some petrol and mileage on the scoobe.
Why not post a picture on this thread of your runabout car

Not really a runabout car although it is my daily driver, got it due to being really cheap to run, £0 road tax, 60's to the gallon and quite good fun to drive with a lot of extras bolted on
This is mine: Yes its a Skoda Octavia lol (1.9 TDI Auto) Its actually a very good car-cheap to run, has all the extras (air con etc) & massive boot space which is fab for picking up engines etc, and for the stables. I can leave it anywhere and not worry some little ****** will nick it or bash their door into it like i do with the Scoob! But best of all it only cost me £100 as it was going for scrap at the dealers my other half was working at at the time. Had a look on flea bay then i got it and they were going for roughly 3k! So cant complain really its worth its weight in gold!!

it's a 2004 1.9 TDi SE and does 55mpg average

Preferred having this on my driveway though

There are some nice "runaround" cars on here
My is a Pug 306 HDi for my 50 mile daily commute

I am still only putting £37 a quid a week of diesel to 300 miles with even with todays prices.
