How much are you likely to get back breaking it? Think it's the way mine will go when it's time.

Its all been sold, the shell left for the scrap yard in the sky on Friday...The difference between selling it whole and breaking was roughly 2k....So worth it really, even with the hassle of shipping parts all round Europe..

You scrapped the shell? I'd of thout they'd be worth something, even to the rally boys.

So you made 2k more breaking it than selling it? If so its Definatley worth doing.

It was a shame to break it! I thought it looked sweet!

But making an extra 2K is well worth it.

Thats why limit people breaking cars on here, there is money in the parts to make an income out of it.

Whats parked next to it? Late 1950's Lincoln?

Looks much better Jay, but that's only because I got something out of it

Breaking is the only way to go these days, I did it with my old V6 cavalier, worth about £750 complete and made £3.5k breaking it; people were buying individual con rods off me. I took an angle grinder to the shell and dropped it off bit by bit to the local scrappy along with a stripped V6 block
