Default MY95 Impreza WRX

Had the car for a few months now, bought it from Dazza9t9 from on Scoobynet so thought I needed to get some pics up.

They are not great but gives you some idea of the car, thanks

A fellow 406 owner!
Looks nice mate, but if you want it to look right your rear wrx decal is in the wrong place, it's too high, should be in the middle still but level with the boot lock. Rcm do new decals..

Tidy looking car, just enjoy it while you can, it won't be long before you start emptying your wallet and start modding, spend money on performance mods and leave it looking as it is - it looks quite tidy

Cheers mate, think its about 270 atm, quite happy wiyh the power but unsure about upping it to much more due to the age and the its a WRX and not an STI.

Seems like gearboxs are the weak point of these models?

Preface are best left as pre-facelift, and that looks a really nice one.
Getting less and less around now, and they are based on Group A cars NOT WRC.
And it was Group A that McRae won with , so they are genesis.

I'm expecting pre-facelifts to become really rare as the years go by. The UK market for Imprezas didnt really kick off properly until the face-lift came in, and 90% of the import ones have been killed of by chavs already.

Take a look at the pre-facelifts for sale on ebay - maybe one or two half decent ones out of 40-50 cars.

Yea but facelifting makes it look 10 years younger. Already bought a new grill and crystsll lights just waiting for the right bonnet to come up.

....and there's nothing wrong with that

Some of us just like the fact that our cars have that 15+ year old face, but are in a condition that defies it

yeah 406 mate. I took my time and got an alloy bonnet off a 98 sti in 406. Their a little bit harder to find but there is a massive difference in weight.

Completely agree

I am also of the opinion that pre-facelift cars are getting rarer, classics aren't as common as they used to be but pre-facelift ones aren't a common sight these days. Mine stays pre-facelift and always will

Face lifted head lights and grill now fitted, just on the look for a 406 silver bonnet.
