+1, got a mate who does wrapping etc I'd have recommended him but your not local, make sure you go to a pro/ somebody whos been doing it a while, I've seen some shocking jobs before. Its a quality present though if shes into that!

Dont need to change the V5 as its not deemed a permanent colour change, just the insurance

I'd be wary of that personally, I thought my girlfriend loved pink so I bought her a pink television, it really didn't go down very well, ruddy women.

Although its not classed as a permanent colour change think you do have to notify the DVLA still? If not be prepared to get pulled by the local plod as may flash up on their system that the reg and car match but colour doesn't may think its been cloned etc.

As said above aswel my missus is also a girly girly and likes the colour pink but she wouldn't want to be driving round in a pink car for sure!! But you know her best so go with what you thinks best!

I think she won't like it. My wife loves pink, I prefer brown...
I'd say make a voucher with the car wrapped in pink saying use this to get it done. On the back do a voucher for treatments for 2 at a spa day for the same value.
win win... Then sexy.time

Good on you mate, gonna be an amazing suprise for her! Gonna be quite tricky to get it done without letting the cat out of the bag or without her seeing it?

all sorted mate I work for VW so I have made up some crap about a recall on her new car so its gona be in the work shop for a few days. she can jump in the scooby for a few days and the guys who wrapped my car are collecting the polo and dropping it back to me on the 23rd

the only thing left to do is collect it from my work xmas morning. 1/2 mile down the road.
Might even wait untill after lunch so she thinks we are all done with the prezzie thing

Not as bright and rich as I thought it would be like in the first picture, but still nice. More like a softer subtle pink.
