Default My 2005 WRX 300 story so far

Hi Everyone. I'm still technically a newbie - joined up here a while back but never got round to posting much. My name is Shak and bought my first Subaru three years ago and still have it. Its a 2005 WRX 300 which originally came from Scotland, but now resides with me in Northern Ireland

Here are a few pics of its time with me

There's some nice mods there the car has evolved well over time, I like the charge temp gauge location plus the sat nav is a nice addition. The black combo works well to with the small bits on the car along with the spoiler and wheels and the light mod. You should keep your eyes open now for a roof vent that would look great on there.

Great work fella. Looks sooooooo much better than when you got it.
Think I would colour code the spoiler but that's just me.
Well done chap.

Looks great, especially how you have all the pictures in order of progress. I notive you've got a kind of rear splitter type thing... what is it called? looks great!

the flocking on the dash centre is cool, rather than the whole thing!

Some great work although I'm not a fan of the unpainted look for the spoiler

Thanks for all the comments folks, sorry its taken me so long to reply - but you will see what I've been up to for the last few months below

Yeah, the black spoiler is a marmite thing - personally I love it, but thats just cos I'm a bit of a black sheep lol!!

Fitted an afterburner vortex

Couple of vinyls

VF37

STI Pinks

Unequal length headers and EJ207 sump

Equal length headers and EJ257 sump

Bumper off

Intercooler on

Bumper on

That bit done

Mmmmm, deliveries

Thanks Paulo Spec C

In bits again

Single scroll vs twin scroll

Induction kit heat shield

Custom fabricated induction kit by Ali Burrows Motorsport

Almost not in bits again

Bit of cold air feed

Bit more cold air feed

Not in bits yaay

New nose job

A sprinkling of Jolly Green Monster

And the final results 325/328

Thanks to Simon Roe for a perfect remap and to Ali Burrows for getting all the oily bits sorted

Looks very good, what do you think of the twinscroll conversion. Have you got used to noise yet.
