My new E46 M3 3.2
As above
Bought this last Wednesday night but have been to busy driving it to post anything up haha
I am the 3rd owner. Low miles with FULL BMW SH.
Every receipt from new someone clearly took alot of care of this.
Not one stone chip or spec of rust on it and its like new underneath
The upgrades on it
AC Schnitzer carbon interior and carbon seat backs
DVD,Sat nav ect and screen
AC schnitzer carbon roof lip
Carbon bonnet vent
Carbon wing vents
Black front grill
Uprated suspension
19x10 rear wheels and 19x8.5 on the front (Cadeus rims)
2005 LED rear lights
Magnaflow stainless exhaust system with receipt for £1650
Uprated brakes and hoses all round - Drilled and grooved
I may of missed something i will remember soon.
Anyways I love the car never had a RWD car before but have to say the M3 is a keeper for sure. Its strange having the car spin from the rear ect as im used to just planting the foot and going lol not having to worry about sliding ect
So far I bought
Carbon wing vents
LED rear number plate lights the yellow ones are dated no imo
Black leather gear gaitor with 3 m stripes on it
AC Schnitzer carbon front splitter
The plans
New mats
CSL carbon rear diffuser
Carbon front diffuser
CSL airbox ect
Then just sit back and relax
Some pics

Lovely motor, have always been put off by servicing costs etc though. A friend has 330 and the cost or tyres, brakes etc is horrendous, even compared to a Subaru.
Love those wheels though!

i had mine in the snow last time and was at work when it started. as soon as i got out of the car park it was soon defeated by a small slope took 2 people to push it up and my 10 min journey turned into a 50 min journey
and a word of warning make sure youve got a bit of money set aside for repairs. i recently paid £450 to replace to a broken ball joint and £300 for a snapped rear spring.
its a fantastic car but im tired of the money i need to keep spending to keep it on the road. so hopefully will be back in a scoob soon

you paid over the odds to fix it then ! when I had my E46 M3 , I bought a complete Eibach spring kit for £185 which lowered it 25mm , does away with the crap quality BMW rear springs that are prone to snapping.
Don't know how they manage to charge you £450 for a ball joint
http://www.c3bmw.co.uk/StockItem.asp...&Item=unassign
Ball joints from £43
These cars can be very cheap to run if you look after them , I had mine for 3 years and hardly put my hand in my pocket

the springs were done by bmw so probably could have been cheaper elsewhere

E46 M3 the ultimate all rounder, luxury and performance. I have had the pleasure of owning 2 of them...
They are definitly a car that will reward you if looked after and punish your pocket if not.
Just incase your not aware, one major issue with some E46 and other Bmw is rear Subframe cracks, make sure and have a good look for these... Also on some M3s, its said that Bolts in the Vanos hubs can come loose or shear off, so there is uprated Bolt kits out there.
Brakes are only ok on the road, complete ****e on track... one of my big problems with BMW is that they produced a 342 BHP 1500kg Monster and stuck single pot sliding Calipers on it, disgracefull really..
As for snow, dont even bother mate, just look out window at it.. Last xmas snow i couldnt get mine out of the drive, i was able to sit in put her in gear, let out clutch and get out and stand looking at her sitting there spininning..
Get some decent rubber, i had Accelera tyres on mine when i got her first and they were scary, ok in Dry but terrible in wet, understeer was really bad, had a lot of oversteer but i had fun with that
I see you thinking Csl Airbox.... have you got a price on that mod yet????? You probably Super charge her to 400-450Bhp for not much extra
Enjoy her mate and best of luck

Hi
Yea the lad put 4 brand new full runs on it for me picking it up lol deadly
I also have 4 f1s for it with 5mm I'm going to stick on Friday
It's had a subframe recall aswell according to the documents.
It's totally different to drive than my Scooby I love it,nice and smooth with good power delivery all the way up.
Yea I can get a CSL replica box in carbon for about £300 and the reviews are just as good. Doing some little touches then will taller power haha

When you switch off tcs, the traction control doesnt fully disengage, its a Bmw safety.
There is a procedure in turning it completely off, i cant think of it at the moment..
Get the black Depo corner lights for her they look the mutz, heres a pic of my old girl with them

Lovely motor pal.
Yea I found the way to "disengage" it haha.
Bought a couple of wee bits for it.
M sport gear gaitor with the 3 stripes
LED number plate lights
Carbon BMW badges
Billet Oil Cap
Its mental i spun it last night on private land lol it was pretty intense lol The farm has a huge clearing of concrete and had it full sideways going round there lol
