Default My Bugeye Wagon...Getting wider...

Hi All,

Picked up my 1st scoob a few months back was looking for a speedy estate as i was bored of not having power but still needed something the dog could come along in

Here's the dog. You just can't say No to this face.

The scoob is totally standard 1 doctor owner with FSH i picked her up @ newport auctions.

She needs some body work doing so I made the choice to replace those bits with saloon parts so she will be nice & wide very soon. Have most of the parts now from various breakers just waiting on some rear 1/4 cuts to turn up ipaid for over a month ago

Anyway I couldnt bare looking at the amount of orange on the front of the car so stuck the head lights in the oven to get rid of the probelm in there & then bought myself some clear repeaters & markers. I wired the markers up as side lights which looks sick at night will get a pic of that later but here are a few pics of it in the day light.

I will ad pics as i start the wide conversion just need a lil paint 1st.

Ok got round to fitting the rear doors & front wings & bumper so this is how she looks now.

Now its a case of getting some rear 1/4's & making them fit!

Hi jura

Yea wish it was easier but if it was then everyone would do it.

Not got any further with it spent a bit if cash kn engine mods lol plus xmas etc. Be earlyy next year I suspect.

Thinking 10j will be what I get and then spacers from there as I will probably need pcd adjustment spacers as 10j in 5x100 is crazy money but can get them in 114.3 for cheap from driftworks etc.

Hi there

i understand and looking forward to see if will be finished

10J will be very wide matey, but will be looking very nice. For best prices 10J i would have look at US sites and first i would contact here Maggs for alloys,he's guru for alloys.

From 5x100->5x114.3 i've seen somewhere these conversion spacers, but not sure where, best place is look at Nasioc

Good luck matey

Jura

Probably get the spacers made over here big there is a company in the US I have found that makes them for a reasonable price

The front archs are rolled as the rears will be so 10j won't be an issue

Yes at USA you can buy these spacers for cheaper than here.

On mine front arches are not rolled, rear one i must get rolled too.

Just you will need run coilovers for these wheels.
