Default 2011 WRX STi Subaru saloon front Lip / splitter

Hi,

Here is our latest product , developed by HT Autos UK.
As people who have the new STi saloon know, Subaru UK have yet again neglected to give us the styling mods most other countries around the globe have, including a front lip splitter. So we have decided to make our own version, made from Polyurethane black plastic.

This is our prototype........

What do you think???

How close is the front of the saloon to the hatch version, i.e. will this fit the hatch too?

Just to widen the market for you

Hatch and saloon front end are identical, I will confirm it if I can get a lip of you tomorrow?

I think the front bumpers on the pre 11 cars (hatch) are not the same as the post 11 cars (saloon & hatch).

Yes, I'd be interested if this fitted MY08 cars, current spoiler is a little subtle.

Any plans for a wrx /wrxd hatch 08/10 front lip spoiler as it's different to the Sti front end

Mark,

A little unfair.
They could bring in the STi items but due to exchange rate noboby would buy them.

However for those that can afford this is my STi one...........

This is the Chargespeed version from their BottomLine set.....

Yours looks very similar to this but with the front edge following the bumper line instead of rounding it off.
Would have to see fitted to really comment but looking good and probably far cheaper than importing from Japan.

that looks nice, much more noticable then the STI one

what materials will you be producing it in

Carbon, GRP, fibre glass?

the hatch bumper (and saloon) facelift and pre face lift both have the same sti lip part number so i would assume apart from the grill and vent mould differences the bottom is all the same

The 08 Sti hatch spoiler was a perfect fit as standard to the WRX-S, which has the same front lip as the WRX, so by my reckoning, if the front end of the Sti saloon is the same as the Sti hatch, then this new part should fit the WRX hatch.

The front bumper changed on both Hatch and Saloon for MY2011, so not the same as MY08-10.

But as Mark says above the STI lip has the same part number for both MY08 and MY11 so if the OE lip fits both models there is no reason this will not.

Hi Immy,

We now have them in stock, slightly more expensive than the hawk ones.

Will be made from injection moulded PU Plastic.

Not sure if they fit the 08-10 hatches, but do fit the 2011 Hatches.

At the time of importing my spoiler the STi Lip spoiler for 2011 was Part number ST96020ZR180 and STi lip spoiler for 08-10 Part Number ST96020ZR040

However having looked at the revised STi catalogue and Sports part pages they now show a part number for the 2011 as SG517FG010 which suggests they are still different but changed to a mainstream part.

The ht auto lips looks miles better as it captures the original lines. The new M11 face lift looks much better than the MY08 IMHO.

I just looked at the installation guides on STIS (subaru tech system) and it lists the STI front underspoiler as
E2410FG100
from 2008 onwards

If you look here http://www.subaru.com/subaru-perform...nce-parts.html
That spoiler is listed for the '08 WRX Base, '08-'10 2.5i & 2.5GT

Whereas E2410FG120 is listed for the '08-'10 STI

If you want the STi spoiler for an 08-10 STi Hatch you can always go to your dealer, its listed on page 5 of the brochure below, and works out about the same price as buying from the States, once you include P&P and VAT etc.

This is our front lip fitted to 2011 STi WRX on KT Green-Subaru Demo car We were told by Simon Green, that his technician commented that it fits better than the original Subaru one
