Hola from Amsterdam!
Hi everyone
I'm Jason and I live in Amsterdam although I am English, originally from North Hertfordshire. I've lived here for about 12 years and enjoy it here most of the time
I own a MY97 Impreza Turbo and have had it for a little over a year and it has XXX in the number plate, hence the user name, Triple-X (although I wanted XXX, but it was either taken or I wasn't allowed to use it ).
It was a one owner from new car when I bought it, with full Subaru history from the garage that it was bought from and has currently 240k km on the clock, but the engine is smooth as...
My car is in pretty good condition. It is light silver in colour (406) and is the saloon version, with the original low level rear spoiler.
It has a few little mods, but nothing too extreme, here is the list:-
ATP 17" multi-spoke wheels
Tarox 6-pot front calipers
Stainless steel break pipes
MY99 front bumper
AVC-R silver (currently on 1.25bar)
3" open downpipe with wastegate bypass going to 2.5" at the middle pipe join
Provdrive back box (I think)
Dastek Unichip with fuel-cut defender
Sparco 4-point belts in front
Stainless steel unequal length GT-spec manifold
Brake bracket
Front seats from a 2003 WRX
Some sort of Koni suspension all round
Next on the list will be an STi 6-speed 'box, as mine is starting to have a few issues with 2nd to 3rd gearchanges
It has had a G-Tech reading and the figures came out at between 247 (lowest) and 262 (highest) bhp at 6000rpm and 328 and 347 Nm at 4300rpm (sorry, can't remember the ft/lb equivalent) at a temperature of 25 degrees celsius and an air pressure of 1016bar (last year with the boost on 1.2 bar)
I'm a member of the Dutch "SubaruClubNederland" and have been since I have owned my car.
That's it for the moment
Some pics (if I can figure out how to add them or somebody can tell me )
