Hmm how have enough info to easily clone your car... should never put plates on the net
I dont see why people get so funny about this, anyone driving down the road who sees this car will see the plate and be able to clone it should they want to? Whats different about the internet?

But that's harder for criminals, driving around searching for streets for a car that looks the same... easy point of call would be an owners club, click on showroom or gallery thread and bam they've got a large database of cars to search through, without stepping foot outside.
There has been loads of stories about people who put their car for sale on places like Auto Trader or Pistonheads with their numberplate showing..... They soon started getting speeding tickets and other offences posted through their letter box from places over the other side of the country.
Blanking pates makes it harder for them to find the info they are after, and move on to someone else who doesn't blank their plate to take their details
